So I am curious, do any of you shop at thrift stores? And if so, do you ever buy clothing there?
I normally don't ever look at the clothes because our goodwill has their stuff organized by color and not by size. It takes f-o-r-e-v-e-r to sort through. I am an impatient person and usually get annoyed really fast when I decide go searching through the clothes.
A few weeks back the whole family was at Goodwill together {aren't we dorky!!} and I decided on a whim to look at the polo shirt section. And boy am i glad that i did!
Right away I happened upon this lacoste polo. I was beyond excited by my find!! Before I let myself get too excited though I tried it on first just to make sure it fit. And it did!
The shirt had a green tag {which meant it was a 1/2 price item that day} making it only $2.60. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me!!
I would probably never pay the retail price tag of $80 for one of these shirts but hey for $2.60? I'll take it!
I think this was by far my best Goodwill find ever. Well, besides my .99 topiary of course!
What has been the best thing you have ever stumbled upon at your local thrift store?

wow, that is an amazing find - you're right - that should would probably be at least $80! i tend to be like you and hate looking through colors of clothes, but sometimes i do and i usually come up with one or two items. the worst is jeans - no sizing and they're all basically the same color! ahhh! lol
usually i head right to households and have found some of my most favorite items in the house there.
I'm with you and Jessica. I usually don't have the patience to shift through, but its always great when you find a steal like you did!
Just recently I got 3 shirts at Good Will ...and they were a good find. I have yet to find something GREAT.... but I don't go enough!
I need to get into our Good Will here! What a bargain!
I love to shop at the GoodWill, and often buy clothes there. However, the clothes I purchase are usually to cut up for crafting, so the color sorting is actually helpful!
what a steal! I usually sort through every so often. Never been this lucky though!
