workout essentials

01. ipod or iphone. I usually never work out with listening to something on my ipod or iphone. I will either listen to some fun music or a sermon. Lately I have been listening to the "You Move" sermon series by Andy Stanley.
02. Stretchy headbands. I wear my hair in a ponytail when I workout but always keep a few of these near my treadmill. They are great for keeping little stray hairs from flying into my face. And they make your boring old ponytail look so much cuter! {I get mine at target}
03. New Balance running shoes. I have long since been a fan of New Balance shoes. My feet love them!
04. Nike running shorts. I love, love, love these shorts. I pretty much live in them in the summer because they are so darn comfy! I have the black, red, and white ones which pair nicely with my OU and UGA tees in case I run to Publix after a workout. {These are kind of pricey but Academy Sports puts them on sale occasionally if you keep your eye out.}
What are your workout essentials? Is anybody else in love with Nike running shorts too?

I've never tried their shorts, but I'm beyond in love with my Shox. I still have a pair of Nikes that I got in 7th grade (which says something about how big my feet were in 7th grade...) that I use for outdoor stuff when I don't want to get my new babies dirty or wet. I love their shoes!

I love those stretchy headbands. I picked up a pack at Ross a while ago and wear them for when I clean!

I am definitely a fan of the nike shorts too! I actually don't have any yet bc they are so expensive. I got adidas ones that look exactly the same on sale once though. Let me know if the Academy puts them on sale!

I have a couple pairs of those shorts, but I LOVE running in skirts. The undershorts don't ride up, which is amazing on long runs. I also always have to have great socks on... love my SmartWools.
