Felt Catch-All

>> 3.08.2010

Every day when Hubby dear gets home from work he empties out his pockets.  Unfortunately, he usually puts his keys on the kitchen counter, his phone on the dining room table, and his wallet on the dresser, etc.  Do you see where this is going?  And then about an hour later he'll say, "Have you seen my phone?"  Of course I always know where his stuff is but I would prefer that he keep track of his own pocket contents!!

Enter the Catch-All.

Last week at MOPS we each made a Felt Catch-All.  Finally Hubs has a place to put all of his "stuff" when he walks in the door!!

Apparently I choose animal print for all of my MOPS crafts.  Remember the new sew bandana apron I made last month?  I think I like to let my wild side show through in my crafts!!

I am linking this project to DIY day and Get your craft on.

So cool...and a great "storage" idea!

Have a great night!

I've seen these in stores but I always thought I didn't like them because they seemed so stuffy, but I love the red and zebra!

Oh...our households are SO similar... :)

I have a pretty traditional house so I like to expose my wild side in animal-print purses or shirts - I think we all have it in us somewhere! I found a cute dish at Goodwill right by the front door that I have for keys - except where do you think my husband's wallet and stuff ends up? Right in a pile NEXT to it. So close yet so far away.... lol

My husband uses a hideous basket to place his stuff. I threw it away once and he pulled it from the trash. Maybe if I made him something like this, the basket could disappear!

I know exactly how you feel! They just need to swallow their pride and get on board with a man bag.

Loving your catch-all. So cute, I mean, very manly. :)

That trim was on the lamp shade , it was a fluke it matched the paint so well , if you are adding ribbon to a shade it is best to use material cut on the bias or you will get a lot of bunching , you can get all kinds of colored bias tape at fabric stores.
Thanks for stopping by ,

Oh and I use hot glue for those type of projects.
