I love to write letters & notes to an old University friend of mine that has now moved to California. For 20-somethings, it's such a unique way to stay in touch. :)

Oh and I use hot glue for those type of projects.

That trim was on the lamp shade , it was a fluke it matched the paint so well , if you are adding ribbon to a shade it is best to use material cut on the bias or you will get a lot of bunching , you can get all kinds of colored bias tape at fabric stores.

I have a pretty traditional house so I like to expose my wild side in animal-print purses or shirts - I think we all have it in us somewhere! I found a cute dish at Goodwill right by the front door that I have for keys - except where do you think my husband's wallet and stuff ends up? Right in a pile NEXT to it. So close yet so far away.... lol
